Terms and Conditions
Please be sure to read this page in full. By submitting registration for one of our classes, you are agreeing to all of the terms and conditions set forth below.
(For the purposes of the terms and conditions below, "Lovin' Lindy" refers to the company as well as all instructors of the company.)
Waiver
I understand that swing dancing and Lindy Hop have certain risks and dangers. I hereby waive and release, for myself, my heirs, executors, administrators, and their respective assigns, any and all rights to damage I might have against Lovin’ Lindy and all of their venues for any and all injuries and damages which may be suffered by me in participation in classes and dances, or injuries that may result at a later date from said participation.
I agree:
- To abide by the instructions given by Eric and Stephanie or any substitute instructors to the best of my ability,
- To not distract others or be disruptive in such a manner that might increase the risk of injury for others,
- To cease participation should I experience any physical pain,
- To cease participation if I feel that the material being presented is too difficult for my current skill level,
- To use spotters when appropriate,
- To refrain from performing aerials and air steps on the social dance floor or in crowds,
- That I have no pre-existing physical conditions that may significantly increase my risk of injury.
By submitting my event registration form, I agree to all terms and conditions stated above.
Video and Still Photography
I understand that Lovin’ Lindy may obtain my likeness in both video and still image form for promotional purposes. I grant Lovin’ Lindy unlimited right and authority to use of such recordings online, in promotional materials, and in any external media source with no obligation, financial or otherwise, to me. Such recordings are the sole property of Lovin’ Lindy. Occasionally, outside photographers may attend and photograph events on behalf of Lovin’ Lindy. These images may also be used for promotional purposes and in external media sources with no obligation, financial or otherwise, to me. Use of video equipment during class is strictly prohibited unless previously agreed upon by the instructors.
