This is our regular location for classes and our Tuesday night practice dance. This huge, air-conditioned space has a wonderful, sprung wood floor. Ample parking onsite. Vending machines with water and sports drinks are available, or bring your own water in a Lovin' Lindy water bottle! |
This cozy coffee shop is a great place to hang out...or spontaneously break out in dancing to the jazzy tunes playing in the background. The venue has ceramic tile flooring and ample parking. |
Chantilly Hall
This is the second oldest gym in Charlotte and sports an original, gorgeous hardwood floor. Because this facility is so old, it does not have air-conditioning, but we do have an industrial fan for each dance we host in this venue. We suggest you bring several shirts and a golf-style towel. There is a large parking lot onsite. On-street parking is also available. Please observe all "no parking" signs. |
Childress Klein YMCA, Multipurpose Room on Mall Level The Childress KleinYMCA is a fantastic facility with an ideal location in Uptown Charlotte. The multipurpose room has beautiful hardwood floors, mirrors, and built-in fans. NO OUTSIDE SHOES ALLOWED - DANCE SHOES ONLY. Parking: There is a parking garage in the building, with entrances from MLK Boulevard and 3rd Street. The YMCA validates tickets. Visitors receive 2.5 hours free during the week and free all day on Saturday. On-street parking is free during the weekend. The lightrail also stops at this building. |
